For the last month I have been writing about Mr. Ben Bernanke! And I have to say, it is about time he did something! But he is no Mr. Greenspan! This guy is like a crazy baseball pitcher! Imagine being the catcher for the Red Sox, and Dice-K is your pitcher! The two of you agree to pitch a fastball but instead he throws you a slider!!!!! My point!!!!! We are still not on the same page with the new Chairman!
On his efforts, I give Mr. Bernanke a "B-" grade!
For all of you that think this is enough and your 401k's are looking good today, I would not jump out of your seats yet!
We are still facing some difficult times and I am not sold that we are out of the water!
Unless, Mr. Bernanke can play the role of Moses (who parted the Red Sea) and part the U.S. economy from Global economy. Has anyone noticed crude oil over $80.. (In Jan 07 it was around $50)? It is only Sept. How are you going to feel in Dec of 07?
The bottom line! Expect some tough times in Oct and Nov! Consumer spending for the holiday is not going to be good!
Expect more actions to take place from the Feds!
Another 1/4 cut by year end! Plus another 1/4 cut before the end of Q2 2008!
Remember, we can fight inflation but there is no remedy for a recession.
And these actions and talks by the Feds are all about fighting a recession!
Unfortunately, most of us were not around in 1930 but if the Feds took action in 1930, rather than saving the economy from sliding into a recession, which in final result began the "Great Depression!" 25% unemployment!
So, with that in mind! Liquidity is the tool to create cash for payroll! That is payroll! Like in payroll that you and I get paid in!!!!! Liquidity that people are talking about is more than just about the housing market! It has a strong relationship with us "average folk" in getting paid!
This is just the being and the not the solution to our GLOBAL ECONOMIC PROBLEM!!!!!!
